We were at Ravenna’s OMC!
Danieli had a chance to meet all the major international players of Oil & Gas field at Fores Engineering booth, a company we have been partners with for quite a long time.
Danieli had a chance to meet all the major international players of Oil & Gas field at Fores Engineering booth, a company we have been partners with for quite a long time.
Many issues were addressed during the event; however, sustainability and green economy got the lion's share, starting from the use of natural gas in a low-carbon energy mix and continuing with energy efficiency. A particular attention was also given to different applications of artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 which, collecting and processing an extensive body of operational data by means of machine learning systems and predictive analytics, can guarantee a great process efficiency and a reduction of operational and environmental costs (lower emissions).
According to the experts, the two main goals of the coming years are acquiring energy with the least possible impact on the environment and getting it at the lowest possible price. The combined provisions of these two goals lead to heavily invest on the mix of renewable energies and natural gas - the cleanest fossil fuel-, gradually abandoning all the most polluting sources. Therefore, as regards energy policies, the offshore world is the answer, while the sea is a great opportunity for a sustainable development.
With the purpose of a coherent sustainability and within the framework of the above-mentioned opportunity, Fores and Danieli aim at cooperating on the O&G (Offshore and Onshore) market in order to solve problems related to process water, to the treatment of water contaminated by hydrocarbons and to the recycle of process water, always aiming at "zero discharge".
We are talking about a synergy structured as a partnership with the aim of representing a combined reference for any water treatment requested and/or necessary in the O&G field which can be implemented by means of different reliable and flexible engineering solutions, ranging from complete plants to functional skids/containers, both for primary water and for treating waste water.
The companies, both leaders in their respective fields of activity, are able to bring together their own organizational "know how" and best practices in order to provide a high-quality service with regard to processes, project management, procurement and commissioning & installation, also guaranteeing efficient after-sales and customer support throughout the entire life-cycle of the project.
